Interactive LightCube touring installations

// An Archive Road Trip

Project: KYPExplore

With South Gloucestershire Council, C-I and more than twenty content partners - museums, public and private archives and collections.

Reimagining how archive materials can be used

Start: Twenty content partners – museums, archives, private collections – wanted to explore new approaches to sharing local history and digital storytelling.

Creative workshops with content partners

Journey: How do you help people become great storytellers in a new medium? We facilitated skills-share workshops and developed storytelling templates. Soon each organisation was seeing their archive materials with new eyes – as great stories waiting to be told. With glowing LightCube installations and an interactive digital storytelling platform, the KYPExplore ‘digital exhibition’ went to shopping malls, community centres, cathedrals and beyond.
